Messianic Promises in Isaiah

The One Year Chronological Bible, NKJV (Tyndale, 2013), June 24

Isaiah prophesies for approximately 58 years, beginning at the end of King Uzziah's final years and continuing through the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. Only one book of the Bible (Psalms) contains more messianic references than the book of Isaiah, which records more than twenty-one promises or references to Judah's only hope.

What attitude does Israel display toward God and their circumstances even in the midst of judgment? What does this reveal about human nature?
